We’re looking forward to working on your plan!

Here’s some additional information to help you get started and prepare for our meeting

As a client of Common Interests, you have access to our client portal, powered by eMoney. This powerful tool allows you to view all your financial accounts in one place, track your spending and budget, set goals, and even collaborate with us in real-time. Here are just a few of the benefits and features of our client portal:

  1. Secure access: Your data is always secure, with two-factor authentication and bank-level encryption.
  2. Easy to use: Our user-friendly interface makes it easy to see all your financial information in one place.
  3. Collaborate with us: We can work together to make sure you’re on track to meet your financial goals.
  4. Track your progress: Our portal lets you track your spending, budget, and goals, so you can see your progress over time.

If we haven’t sent you an invite to eMoney yet, we will do so in the next few business days. Now that you’ve booked this appointment, your next step is to go through the onboarding tool in eMoney, which will help us get started on the foundation of your financial plan.

To get the most out of your first meeting with us, we recommend that you come prepared with the following (the onboarding process should help you get started with some of this):

  1. A list of your financial goals: What are you hoping to achieve with your finances? Whether it’s saving for retirement, buying a house, or paying off debt, we want to know what’s important to you.
  2. Information about your current financial situation: Make sure to have access to your logins (usernames and passwords – please NEVER SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH US) to any accounts related to your current financial situation, including bank and investment accounts, credit cards, and mortgages or loans. If you don’t have online access to these things, we can review statements from them, which you can upload to the eMoney Vault. Here’s a full fact finder if you’d like to see the kinds of things we look for.
  3. A willingness to learn: We’re here to help you understand your finances and make the most of your money. So come prepared to ask questions and learn about the tools and strategies that can help you in your desire to reach your financial goals.

We’re looking forward to meeting with you and helping you take control of your financial future! If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
